A few hours ago, history was made when Osama Bin Laden was captured and killed. For well over twenty years, Bin Laden has been plotting against the United States. An international crime lord,
he was responsible for the attacks on US soil on September 11, 2001.

The threat of Osama Bin Laden and terrorism dominated the news headlines during George W. Bush's time as president. Many feel the Bush administration used this to their advantage. On Bush's watch, the economy hit lows not seen since The Great Depression. While the economy fell apart, Bush had America focused on Bin Laden.

Barack Obama was elected president in 2008 and has had a rough time since being in office. Every move he makes seems to have a negative impact on him. Supporters of President Obama have said he needs to make a power move. Obama did this in the midst of controversy with Donald Trump.

While America has been focused on Trump's next comment and the Royal Wedding, President Obama was conducting business. Osama Bin Laden was found in his mansion when the president gave the CIA the order to kill him. Not only did President Obama make a power move, he has managed to make history in his first term as president. Following Bin Laden's death, President Obama took to the media to inform them of this world-changing news.
